The work of nicolás paris is a poetic resistance to conventions, rules and entrenched convictions. His working method, based on the act of drawing, on dialogue and elements drawn from architecture, aims to encourage open-ended and experimental learning processes. One such initiative with the same goal as paris will be a guest at the Kunsthalle Münster. The Reading Group Machtkritsche Kunstvermittlung, which was created by the art education specialist Prof. Dr. Gesa Krebber from the University of Fine Arts Münster, the group engages weekly with emancipatory, power-critical and transformative educational work. Together with Merle Radtke, the director of Kunsthalle Münster and curator of the exhibition nicolás paris: manigua, the exhibition space will be transformed into a place of egalitarian, communal and exploratory exchange.

Information on the texts, which will be discussed, will follow shortly.

Everyone is cordially invited to take part in the open seminar on October 30, 2024. We kindly ask you to register at: kunsthalle@stadt-muenster.de.
