Every year, the artists of the Speicher 2 studio complex open their doors to present their latest works to the public, ranging from painting and photography to installation, video, sound art, and performance. Over the course of three days, visitors can explore the studios—ranging in size from 42 to 136 square meters—with a view of Münster’s city harbor.

Since its opening in 2004, Speicher 2 has developed into an important center for contemporary art. Here, 32 studios supported by the City of Münster’s Cultural Affairs Office offer excellent conditions for artistic work.

As a result, Speicher 2 serves as a key driving force for Münster’s art scene and contributes significantly to the development of the regional and national cultural landscape. Numerous collaborations with art institutions and festivals have also made Speicher 2 known beyond the city limits.
