The Kunsthalle Münster is opening ist doors until midnight as part of Nacht der Museen und Galerien. On display is We Are Full of Winds and Sea and Solar Threads, the first solo exhibition by Catalan artist Rosa Tharrats to be presented in Germany. Her work is characterised by a reflection on community networks, cohesion and sustainability, which runs through her sculptures, installations, performances and videos in different ways. In recent years, it has become increasingly clear that transformative social and ecological change requires the ability to imagine a different world. This requires a conscious engagement with our creative imagination. Tharrats invites us to rethink our relationship with the world around us and to recognise the inherent value of each element as a constant reminder of the continuous flow inherent in the cycles of life. In her sculptures, we experience not only the sensual and spiritual interplay of materials and forms, but also the pulse of life that stimulates vitality to grow and flourish.

The exhibition attempts to create practical and poetic tools for a dynamic reconciliation of action and imagination to address the urgent social and environmental challenges of our time. In her exhibition, Tharrats invites the audience to activate the created fabric through breathing, laughter and collective singing. In a playful way, participants connect through shared laughter and the experience trains the ability to change the present.
