CreditThe Förderpreisausstellung der Freunde der Kunstakademie Münster (award exhibition of the Friends of the University of Fine Arts Münster) is taking place for the 40th time, showing works by 15 students: Sierra Louise Diamond + Leya Christin Wüllner, Pascale Feitner, Philipp Hermeling, Chu Chun Hsu, Louis Klingbeil + Vincenzo Pantó, Selena Knoop, Eva Sofie Lonken, Tamara Malcher, Camilla Noell, Nane Rau, Daniel Schwinge, Jana Theml, Alla Zhyvotova.
The award exhibition is a special exhibition format that is not based on any specific theme-related concept. Rather, it is understood as a platform enabling students of the University of Fine Arts Münster to present their works to a broad public in the Kunsthalle’s showrooms. The jury consisting of Agnieszka Skolimowska (curator at the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen, Düsseldorf), Moritz Scheper (director of the Neuer Essener Kunstverein) and Olga Holzschuh (artist, lives and works in Cologne and Düsseldorf) will select a total of three prizewinners from the artistic positions. Corresponding to the 13 classes, the exhibition will feature different focal points and various media, such as paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations and videos.
