The Förderpreisausstellung der Freunde der Kunstakademie Münster (award exhibition of the Friends of the University of Fine Arts Münster) is taking place for the 37th time, showing works by 13 students in total: Robin Bolt, Petra Bresser, Tuğba Durukan, Charlotte Hilbolt, Kerstin Hochhaus, Maho Khutsishvili, Johanna Knoblauch, Peter Lepp, Aduni Ogunsan, Nette Pieters, Meike Schulze Hobeling, Mila Stoytcheva and Yasin Wörheide.

The award exhibition is a special exhibition format that is not based on any specific theme-related concept. It is rather understood as a platform permitting students of the University of Fine Arts Münster to present their works to a broad public in the Kunsthalle’s showrooms. Corresponding to the 13 classes and their different points of focus, different media, such as painting, sculpture, installation, video and performance are on show.

The jury – consisting of Leonie Pfennig (art historian, independent author und editor, Cologne), Rebekka Seubert (Director Dortmunder Kunstverein) and Hanns Lennart Wiesner (independet curator, Berlin) will choose three awardees out of the presented artistic positions.
